# Keep the collections you use close at hand

Add the collections you open most to your favourites, and put the ones you're working in right now in your Focus. Both are personal: they change your sidebar, not anyone else's. To give a long list of collections some shape, tag them and group the sidebar by tag. Inside a collection, pin the memos people need first.

## Add a collection to your favourites

Open the collection's **⋯** menu and choose **Add to favourites**. Your favourites sit in their own **Favourites** group at the top of the collection list. To take one off, choose **Remove from favourites**.

## Put the collections you're working in into Focus

Focus is your own shortlist for what you're working on now.

1. Open the collection's **⋯** menu and choose **Add to focus**.

2. In the sidebar, switch between **Focus** (your shortlist), **All** and **Mine** above the collection list.

When your Focus is empty, it suggests a few collections you could add. Nothing goes into your Focus unless you add it, and **Remove from focus** takes it out again.

## Group collections by tag

Collection tags are labels shared across the workspace, such as a client, a team or a kind of work. They help people find things and never change who can see a collection.

1. Open a collection's **⋯** menu, go to **Edit tags**, and pick a tag or choose **New tag…** to make one.

2. In the sidebar, open the **⋯** menu above the collection list and choose **Group by tag**. The list then shows one section for each tag. Choose **Don't group by tag** to go back to one list.

## Pin memos to the top of a collection

A pinned memo leads the collection's lists, ahead of the view's own sort, so it's the first thing everyone sees. Open the memo, open the menu on that collection's name among the memo's collections, and choose **Pin to collection**. Your AI can favourite collections you own, tag collections and pin memos for you. Focus is set in the app.
