Build context your team owns, not one person's chat history
What your team works out with AI usually stays in the chat where it happened, where only one person can find it. Save the useful parts into collections shared with your team, and write down how things are done as standing instructions. Then everyone, and everyone's AI, starts from the same knowledge, and it's kept in your team's workspace rather than in one person's chats.
Why it works
Everyone starts from what's already worked out. A teammate can bring a shared guide or prompt into their own chat instead of rediscovering it.
Every AI gets the same brief. Before anyone's AI writes in a collection, it's given that collection's standing instructions, so the team's way of doing things travels with the work.
You can see what it's working from. Memos are readable and editable by people, not hidden inside a chat. Version history shows who changed what, person or AI. See See and restore earlier versions of a memo.
Sharing is a choice. Nothing goes to the team until someone decides it should.
How to set it up
Work in a team workspace. Free is for one person; a team shares one workspace on Pro. See Choose a plan and manage billing and Invite people to your workspace.
Make collections for the team's work, and share them at the right level. See Share a collection with your team.
Write down how things are done. Put rules that hold everywhere in the workspace instructions, and rules for one kind of work on its collection. See Give a collection standing instructions.
Save the good parts as you go. When a chat produces something the team would use, save it into the shared collection.
Have each person connect their own AI. It works as them and reaches only what they can reach. See What AI assistants can do in Fieldwerk.
Save something for the team
In Fieldwerk, look at what we've worked out in this chat and suggest what my team would want to keep. Show me the collections shared with my team and ask which one it belongs in. Draft it as a memo, and only save it once I've checked it, because my team will see it.Write down how the team works
In Fieldwerk, show me the collections shared with my team and ask which one to look at. Read its memos and suggest short standing instructions describing how we do things there, based on the patterns you see. Show me the draft before you save anything, because it will apply to everyone's AI working in that collection.
